Ballygally beach is located on the Antrim coast of Northern Ireland. It is approximately 0.6 kilometres in length and is comprised mainly of sand with rocky outcrops at both ends. The beach is backed by rock armour and a sea wall. There are two car parks in the area. The main one is opposite the bathing area and a smaller one is approximately 200m south of the bathing area. Picnic sites are located at the smaller car park and on a grass area opposite the main car park. Across the road is the residential area of Ballygally, including a hotel and public toilet facilities.
Water quality is classified as "Excellent" based on samples taken from the previous 4 years, 2021 through to 2024.
