Booby's Bay is on the north coast of Cornwall, approximately 1 kilometre south of Trevose Head. It is a rural beach that is approximately 470 metres wide. The beach has extensive rocky outcrops with many rock pools exposed at low tide. A large shipwreck can also become exposed on this beach, particularly following storms. There are no streams entering the bathing water directly. The beach lies within the Trevose Head and Constantine Bay Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and the Padstow Bay and Surrounds Marine Conservation Zone.

Water quality is classified as "Excellent" based on samples taken from the previous 4 years, 2021 through to 2024.
