Church Door Cove Beach

Pembrokeshire, Wales

A small rocky beach situated in a sheltered cove surrounded by tall cliffs. The cove gets its name from a unique door-shaped arch cut into the headland by the sea. Much of the beach is covered by the water at high tide. At low tide, an expanse of sand is revealed, connecting it to Shrinkle Haven Beach to the south. Visitors should be careful not to get cut off by the rising tide. Access to the beach is via steep steps that lead down from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path that runs along the cliff top.
