Cruden Bay beach is situated on the east coast of Aberdeenshire. It is a long sandy bay, about 2.5 kilometres long, backed by sand dunes. The sand slopes gently towards the water. The beach is popular with tourists, water sport enthusiasts and for sea fishing.
Water quality is classified as "Excellent" based on samples taken from the previous 4 years, 2021 through to 2024.
