A sandy beach backed by a promenade, situated on the northern side of the Loughor estuary. The walkway and cycle path behind the beach runs for 13 miles and links Llanelli to Pembrey Country Park. Dogs are allowed on the beach, though walkers should take care at low tides due to dangerous quicksands and fast-incoming tides. There is parking available behind the beach.
