A sandy bay east of Margate. It is backed by cliffs, with a concrete seawall and promenade that runs up to Foreness Point to the east. The beach is mainly covered at high tide and there is a chalk reef visible at low tide. Dogs are allowed on the beach making it a popular spot for dog walkers.
