A sandy beach situated in a sheltered cove, with cliffs on both sides. Some rock pools are exposed at low tide. It is backed by grassy sand dunes and a car park. On the headland to the north west is the Neolithic underground burial chamber of Barclodiad y Gawres. The beach is popular for a number of activities including fishing, surfing, canoeing and windsurfing. Dogs are also permitted on the beach.
