A small strip of sand and shingle with an expanse of sand and mud exposed at low tide. The remains of the former outdoor swimming pool can be seen as the tide recedes. The beach is popular with walkers though it is not suitable for swimming, and visitors should be aware of the dangers of walking too far out due to fast incoming tides.
