A long stretch of sand with some pebbles and some rocky areas. It has a shallow gradient leading to a large foreshore at low tide and a beach that is mainly covered at high tide. It is backed by Priory Woods, a National Trust owned woodland. Access is via the coastal path from Seagrove Bay to the north or from St Helens to the south.
