Rosehearty beach is situated adjacent to the town of Rosehearty in Aberdeenshire. The sandy beach is approximately 1km long and nestles between the harbour to the west and rocky outcrops to the east. It and is backed by Rosehearty golf course. Rosehearty beach is popular with wildlife enthusiasts after recent sightings of basking sharks and whales off the coast. Other activities pursued here are swimming, windsurfing, scuba diving and coastal walking, with the beach being linked to an extensive network of coastal paths.
Water quality is classified as "Excellent" based on samples taken from the previous 4 years, 2021 through to 2024.
