A secluded shingle beach beside the mouth of the River Alde. It overlooks the 10-mile shingle spit of Orford Ness. The beach features impressive tidal lagoons, though there are warning signs about quicksand around them at low tides. Swimming in the sea is also not advisable due to strong rip currents. Parking is available beside the beach.
