A sandy beach with rocky outcrops backed by cliffs. A large expanse of sand is revealed at low tide, while the beach is almost entirely covered at high tide. Tregantle Fort is situated behind, and the beach is closed to the public when firing ranges are in use. There can be strong currents so swimmers should exercise caution.
